A bowl of comfort in every spoonful. Our Stracciatella Brodo is a classic Italian soup made by whisking eggs and Parmigiano into hot, savory broth, creating delicate “ribbons” of flavor. Light yet satisfying, it’s perfect for chilly evenings, when you want something soothing without being heavy. Pair it with crusty bread or a fresh green salad to make it a simple, warming dish.
INGREDIENTS
Il Nonno Slow Roasted Beef Mezzelune Piccole OR Il Nonno Chicken, Mushroom & Thyme Mezzelune Piccole
20ml olive oil
½ brown onion
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 carrot peeled and diced
2 sticks of celery diced
2L chicken stock
500ml water
40g fresh parsley
2tbsp grated parmesan cheese
2 eggs whisked
Season to taste
METHOD
In a pot, saute olive oil, garlic, diced carrot and celery for 5 minutes
Add chicken stock and water
Bring to the boil and boil for 15-20 minutes
Stir through cooked il Nonno Slow Roasted Beef Mezzelune Piccole
Cook for 5 minutes
Finish by whisking through eggs, grated parmesan cheese and fresh parsley
